August 2026 Updates

The largest release yet — purchasing, sales, reports, settings and integrations rebuilt.

The biggest release we have shipped

It has been quiet since January. That was deliberate — we spent this year rebuilding the core of Brahmin Solutions rather than shipping small changes month by month, so the pieces work together properly instead of being improved one at a time.

It is all live now, and nothing needs turning on:

  • Purchasing rebuilt — orders, receiving, bills, vendors and returns

  • Sales and shipping rebuilt, including partial shipments and drop shipping

  • New calendar views for purchase and sales orders — drag an order to reschedule it

  • Reports, settings and reordering rebuilt

  • Shopify, QuickBooks and Xero updated

  • ShipStation rebuilt — ⚠️ existing users, see below

Still to come this year: a redesigned Manufacturing module, new dashboards, a rebuilt Permissions module, and brand new import tools.

Everything in detail below.

Purchasing, rebuilt

The whole purchasing side has been reworked — orders, receiving, bills, vendors and returns.

  • Purchase orders — redesigned create and detail screens, with line items you can edit inline

  • Receiving — a clearer receive form, and tracking fields that unlock as soon as you enter a
    quantity and location

  • Bills — create several bills against one order, with a billing progress bar so you can see
    what is left to bill

  • Vendors — a new vendor screen, bulk actions for price lists, payment terms, tags and status

  • Purchase returns — rebuilt end to end

New — purchase order calendar

See everything you have on order laid out on the days it is due to arrive.

  • Orders sit on their expected date, so you can see what is landing this week

  • Drag an order to a new day to reschedule it

  • Once an order is fulfilled it moves to the day it actually arrived and locks — so the calendar
shows your plan while an order is open, and what really happened once it closes

  • Month, week, day and year views

New — purchase order line items view

A dedicated view of every line across all your purchase orders, rather than order by order. Useful when you want to know what is on order for one product without opening a dozen documents.

Sales and shipping, rebuilt

  • Sales orders — redesigned create and detail screens

  • Shipments — a clearer four-stage flow with an explanation at every stage, and undo at each one

  • Partial shipments — type a quantity per location to ship what you have and leave the rest
    outstanding

  • Sales returns — rebuilt, including the per-line Restock setting that decides whether
returned goods go back into sellable stock

  • Drop shipping — a dedicated Dropshipment tab on any order with drop-ship lines

Sales order calendar, updated

The sales calendar now works the same way as the new purchase one.

  • Orders sit on their ship-by date

  • Drag to reschedule while an order is confirmed or in process

  • Fulfilled orders move to the day they actually went and lock

  • Month, week, day and year views

Reports, rebuilt

  • Sales reports — rebuilt across every breakdown, including sales by product variation

  • Invoice reports — rebuilt

  • Filters, saved views and period comparison across the report family

Settings, rebuilt

Settings has been reworked throughout — warehouses and locations, units of measure, tax rates, payment and shipping terms, price lists, currencies, categories, brands and tracking fields.

Integrations

⚠️ ShipStation — rebuilt

The ShipStation integration has been rebuilt. The connection works the same way — a Username, Password and URL you paste into ShipStation as a Custom Store — but the screen around it is new: copy buttons on every credential, a status line telling you whether ShipStation has connected, and a Logs tab so you can see why a shipment did not arrive instead of guessing.

If you already use ShipStation, check your connection. Go to Settings → Add-Ons → Integrations → ShipStation and look at the status at the top.

Also updated

  • Shopify — updated

  • QuickBooks — updated

  • Xero — updated

Reordering, rebuilt

  • New Reorder Points screen for setting minimum and maximum per item, per warehouse

  • Rebuilt Reorder Report, showing only what has fallen below its minimum with nothing inbound to
    cover it

  • Generate PO creates draft orders grouped by supplier, with a review step before anything is
    created

Still to come this year

The rebuild is not quite finished. Four more pieces land before the year is out:

  • Manufacturing — redesigned, bringing it in line with the rest of the product

  • Dashboards — new

  • Permissions — a rebuilt module, so you can control who sees and does what with more precision

  • Imports — brand new import tools

Plus the smaller things that come with them.

And the documentation

The help centre has been rewritten alongside the product. Roughly 60 new and rewritten articles covering purchasing, receiving, shipping, drop shipping, reordering, returns and inventory costing — each one written against the screens as they are today.

If something in here is not clear, tell us. That is the fastest way for it to get better.
