If you order the same things from the same vendor regularly, copy the last order instead of building a new one line by line.
Duplicate an order
In the top menu, click Purchases.
Click the order you want to copy.
Click Action in the top right.
Click Duplicate Order.
What you get
A new draft order with the same vendor and the same line items. Nothing is confirmed and nothing is on order until you confirm it.
Check these before you confirm
The copy carries over what was on the original, which may no longer be right:
Prices — copied from the old order. If your vendor has changed prices, update them now, or you
will receive stock at last quarter's cost and your item cost will be wrong.Expected date — set a new one.
Quantities — adjust to what you need this time.
How to know it worked
You are taken to a new order with its own number and a Draft badge. The original is untouched.
