Save a view you use often

Save the filters you set every morning.

If you set the same filters every morning, save them as a view. Next time it is one click.

Views work the same way on every list in Brahmin Solutions — purchases, vendors, inventory and the rest.

Save a view

  1. Set up the list how you want it — filters, columns and sort.

  2. Click Add view in the toolbar.

  3. Give it a name that says what it is for. "Late orders from Pacific" beats "View 2".

  4. Save.

Your view appears next to All at the top. Click between them any time.

Change a saved view

Open the view, change the filters or columns, then click Save.

Save stays greyed out until you actually change something — if it looks dead, nothing has changed yet.

Views to consider

  • Waiting to arrive — status Confirmed or In process

  • Late — expected date before today, not yet fulfilled

  • This vendor — one supplier, for when you call them

A view remembers the sort as well

A view saves the sort as well as the filters. If a saved view ever refuses to load, changing the sort is the first thing to try — a view holding a sort on a column that no longer exists can fail to open.
