Here's what to expect when you integrate QuickBooks Online with Brahmin Solutions:

Supported Versions

  • Essentials or Plus plan


  • One way Sync at real time.

Accounts Mapping

  • Brahmin Solutions accounts maps with the following type of QuickBooks account types.


  • After confirming a Bill in Brahmin Solutions, Bills will appear under Transactions > Expenses

  • Bills will Debit > Part Inventory, Product Inventory, Service, and or Purchase Tax and Credit > Accounts Payable (A/P). Look at the example below.


  • After confirming an Invoice in Brahmin Solutions, Invoices will appear under Transactions > Sales.

  • Invoices will Debit > Accounts Receivable (A/R) and Credit > Sales Tax and Sales Income. Look at the example below.

  • Brahmin Solutions can add full or partial payments to QuickBooks Invoice. Paying an invoice will Debit > Account getting Paid ex. Cash On Hand and Credit > Accounts Receivable (A/R). Look at the example below.

  • When a shipment is made, a journal entry is created which Debits > Cost Of Goods Sold (COGS) and Credit > Product Inventory. Look at the example below.


  • After journal entries are created, they will appear under Reports > Journal.

  • Inventory Adjustment - Add will create a journal entry which will Debit > Product Inventory and Part Inventory and Credit > COGS

  • Inventory Adjustment - Remove will create a journal entry which will Debit > COGS and Credit > Part Inventory and Product Inventory

  • Inventory Adjustment - Move will not create a journal entry as it is just a move from one location to another.

Vendor Returns

  • After a purchase return is confirmed and vendor is credited,  Vendor Credit will appear under Transactions > Expenses

  • Vendor Credit will Debit > Accounts Payable and Credit > Product Inventory and Part Inventory.

Customer Returns

  • After a customer return is confirmed and the customer is refunded,  Credit Memo will appear under Transactions > Sales

  • Credit Memo will Debit > Sales Income and Credit > Accounts Receivable.

  • If stock on sales order is returned to inventory, a journal entry will be created which will Debit > Product Inventory and Credit > COGS.


  • Brahmin Solutions does not send qty updates to QuickBooks Inventory.
