Building Brahmin Solutions products from Shopify

Enable "Allow Brahmin Solutions to build products from Shopify if it is unable to link" (AutoBuild) in the Brahmin Solutions Shopify settings.

Once AutoBuild is enabled, products from Shopify will build into Brahmin Solutions with their product-variant structure.

When building from Shopify, Brahmin Solutions will download the following product details:

Product Name
Variant Name
Variant Code
Images
Price - Price will download to the associated price list. Ex. If the Retail price list is enabled for Shopify, the price from Shopify will be download to Retail.

Note: When AutoBuild is enabled, Brahmin Solutions will try to first link the products before building them.

After the initial product builds into Brahmin Solutions, product changes made on Shopify (Description, qty, price) will NOT update the product in Brahmin Solutions.

Brahmin Solutions Master of Stock Levels

Enable "Brahmin Solutions is the master of Stock" in Brahmin Solutions Shopify settings.

Once Master of Stock is enabled, Brahmin Solutions will push product available qty updates to Shopify as they happen.

Note: Brahmin Solutions will not push changes made to Shopify product qty down to Brahmin Solutions.

Brahmin Solutions Master of Price

Enable "Brahmin Solutions is the master of price" in Brahmin Solutions Shopify settings.

Once Master of Price is enabled, Brahmin Solutions will push pricing updates to Shopify as they happen.

Note: Brahmin Solutions will not push changes made to Shopify product price down to Brahmin Solutions.

Brahmin Solutions Master of Description

Enable "Allow Brahmin Solutions to sync product details of linked products with Shopify" (Master of Description) in Brahmin Solutions Shopify settings.

Once Master of Description is enabled, Brahmin Solutions will push changes to product long description to Shopify.

Note: Brahmin Solutions will not push changes made in Shopify product description down to Brahmin Solutions.

Enabling Stock Management

In order for Brahmin Solutions to control Shopify's stock quantities, you must enable the Track Stock setting in Shopify, accessible from the product detail page:

Note: If the option to allow customers to purchase the item when it's out of stock is selected, the item will be available for sale on Shopify even if Brahmin Solutions pushes a quantity of 0.

Updating Shopify listings via CSV often leads to duplicate listings and variants in Brahmin Solutions.
