The Item Price Lists page is the central place to manage pricing across all products and variants in Brahmin Solutions.
This screen allows you to quickly update purchase costs, retail pricing, wholesale tiers, and any custom pricing groups β all in one structured view.
What Are Price Lists?
A Price List is a pricing tier applied to an item (variant) depending on how it is being purchased or sold.
Price Lists support workflows such as:
Vendor purchasing costs
Retail customer pricing
Wholesale customer pricing
Distributor tiers
VIP or contract pricing
Region-specific pricing
Each item can have multiple prices depending on which list is being used.
Where to Manage Pricing
Pricing can be updated in three primary ways:
1. From a Variant Details Screen
You can update pricing directly when viewing a specific item.
2. From the Item Price Lists Page (recommended for bulk edits)
Navigate to: Inventory β Item Price Lists
This provides a spreadsheet-style pricing manager across all SKUs.
3. Via Imports
Large pricing updates can also be completed through inventory imports (ideal for full catalog refreshes).
Default Price Lists in the System
Brahmin Solutions includes three standard Price Lists by default:
Purchase (Buy)
Used for vendor purchasing and cost tracking
Supports MAC and procurement workflows
Retail (Sell)
Default selling price for standard customer orders
Wholesale (Sell)
Default selling price for wholesale or distributor customers
These defaults cover the most common pricing needs.
Custom Price Lists
Beyond the default Purchase, Retail, and Wholesale lists, your organization can create additional custom Price Lists to support more advanced pricing strategies.
Examples of common custom Price Lists include:
Distributor Pricing
Tier 1 / Tier 2 Wholesale Levels
Contract Customer Pricing
VIP or Preferred Customer Rates
Regional Pricing Groups
Promotional or Seasonal Pricing
Channel-Specific Pricing (Online vs B2B)
Custom Price Lists allow you to scale pricing across different customer types and purchasing agreements without manually overriding prices on every order.
Buy-Side vs Sell-Side Price Lists
Custom Price Lists can be created for either side of your business:
Buy-Side Pricing (Purchasing Costs)
Used when managing supplier-specific cost structures, such as:
Vendor cost tiers
Bulk purchase discounts
Alternate supplier pricing
Sell-Side Pricing (Customer Selling Prices)
Used when managing customer-facing price tiers, such as:
Wholesale vs Retail pricing
Distributor price agreements
Contract-based pricing
