Search Customers

Learn how to find, filter, and organize customers using search, filters, and saved views.

Updated this week

Overview

The Customers page is where you can view and manage all customer records. From this page, you can quickly find specific customers, narrow down large lists using filters, and create saved views for ongoing workflows.

The search and filtering tools are designed to be flexible and easy to use, allowing you to locate customers without needing exact matches.

Search for Customers

Use the search bar at the top of the Customers page to quickly find customers.

You can search by:

  • Customer name

  • Contact name

  • Contact email

  • Tags

Search supports partial matches, so you do not need to type the full value to find a customer.

Search results update automatically as you type.

Filter Customers

Filters allow you to narrow down the customer list based on specific criteria.

To add a filter:

  1. Click Add filter

  2. Select a filter type

  3. Choose the value to filter by

You can apply multiple filters at the same time to further refine results.

Common examples:

  • Show only Active customers

  • Filter customers by billing or shipping location

  • Filter by customer type, price list, or payment terms

Filters apply only to the current view and do not affect other users.

Use Saved Views

Saved views allow you to store a set of filters for repeated use.

Use views when you want to:

  • Monitor a specific group of customers

  • Quickly return to commonly used filters

  • Organize customers by workflow or team needs

To create a view:

  1. Apply search and filters

  2. Click Save

  3. Name the view

Saved views update automatically as customer data changes.

Search vs Filters β€” When to Use Each

  • Search
Use search when you are looking for a specific customer or contact.

  • Filters
Use filters when you want to work with a group of customers or analyze a subset of records.

You can use search and filters together.

Additional Actions from the Customers Page

From the Customers page, you can also:

  • Select one or more customers

  • Use Bulk actions to update fields such as price list, sales rep, or status

  • Create new customer records
